Sauna Rules & Etiquette
HYDRATE - Drink a glass of water before your session. Bring a water bottle (plastic), with you to sip on during your sauna. Try to drink 1-2 glasses of water shortly afterwards.
Keep water bottles on the floor. Don't put them on top of heaters or benches, as they get hot and can damage the surfaces.
SHOWER - Always shower before using the sauna.
CLOTHING - Swim or gym gear is recommended. Please remain suitably clothed at all times. Change into sauna gear in the main change rooms, then walk through to the sauna area where you can remove any outer layers of clothing.
STORAGE - There are hooks and shelving available in the sauna room for your outer clothing layers and belongings.
TOWELS - Always sit/lie on a towel (Bring your own or borrow a complementary towel from reception).
SITTING POSITIONS - Sit or lie down. You can lie against the wall panels, but they get hot, so drape a towel over your shoulders.
