Accommodation

Covid-19
The New Zealand Government announced on Monday 23 March the closing of all non-essential services from 11.59 pm on Wednesday 25 March for four weekscovid19.govt.nz.  During this time there will be severe travel restrictions and the UC campus and all halls of residence will be closed.  The online application portal will remain open, however you will need to contact accommodation@canterbury.ac.nz if you require urgent accommodation during this time.  Applications for Semester 2 will be processed in the normal way.
If you have a question relating to an existing contract or the welfare of a student in residence, please contact your hall of residence directly in the first instance.

Deciding where to live in your first year is just as important as figuring out what to study. UC is here to help you find a hall, flat or homestay.
