The University offers a wide selection of undergraduate, postgraduate and preparatory courses in a range of subjects over summer (November-February). Taking a summer course gives you an opportunity to get ahead by shortening the time it takes to complete your degree or to catch up by retaking courses you failed or withdrew from during the year. You can spread your workload, catch up after taking introductory courses during the year, enrol in summer only, improve your academic skills and if eligible you can receive StudyLink assistance over summer.
We have degree courses starting in November 2019 and January 2020. See the individual course pages for timetable and fees.
Preparatory courses are non-credit, catch-up preparatory courses that can help prepare you for first-year degree study.
You can now enrol online for November start summer courses with myUC. Enrolments for January start summer courses will open 1 October 2019.
The short duration of summer courses makes them different from full semester courses. For more information, read the Summer Study Guidelines.
A UC Summer Research Scholarship provides the opportunity to work on a supervised research project for 400 hours over the summer period.
