Submitting a manuscript

Canterbury University Press (CUP) publishes academic works, including monographs and edited collections. We also publish rigorously researched books that will appeal to a more general audience.
HOW TO APPLY
If you would like to propose a book for publication by CUP, please complete our book proposal form and email it to us at universitypress@canterbury.ac.nz with a covering note and your sample chapters.
- Please note that we’re not able to provide detailed feedback on proposals that are not accepted for publication.
- CUP is not currently considering any new poetry or fiction submissions.
