Scheduled UC Council meeting dates for 2026 are as follows:
- Wednesday 25 February
- Tuesday 24 March
- Tuesday 26 May
- Wednesday 24 June
- Wednesday 19 August
- Wednesday 30 September
- Wednesday 28 October
- Wednesday 25 November
Meetings of the Council are held in public unless there is a good reason to exclude the public, including media, from Council or committee meetings. Public excluded agenda and minutes are not available to the public.
Reasons for 'public excluded' include:
- Protecting the privacy of any person,
- To enable free and frank expression of opinions,
- Commercial confidentiality or legal privilege.
Resolutions to exclude the public are made under Section 48 of the Local Government Official Information & Meetings Act 1987.
