Thesis House
Thesis House is a space available for Doctoral students who need a quiet study location for completing the write-up of their thesis, when there is no suitable space that can be provided by their School or Department. A space in Thesis House can be requested for a maximum of 3 months and is subject to availability. Please contact the team to enquire about availability.
Loan Laptops
Laptop loans can be requested by research students to cover short periods where their own machine (or a School/Department issued machine) is unavailable, for example while they are being repaired. These can be requested for a maximum of 3 months and are not a replacement for a student having their own machine. To request a loan, complete this form and submit to the Graduate School email.
UC Research Student Publication Prize
The goal of the UC Research Student Publication Prize is to encourage students to publish their work in leading peer-reviewed publications, indexed in Scopus, during their doctoral or master's studies (e.g., journal articles, book chapters, monographs, or conference proceedings). Publication during the tenure of Doctoral or Master's studies enhances student’s employment prospects and, for UC, contributes to the enhancement of international university rankings.
