HOW TO APPLY

Each of UC's Engineering degrees have different entry levels and previous study requirements.

Depending on the degree you choose, you may be required to have previously completed a university bachelor's degree with a minimum grade point average (GPA) in a related subject area to engineering or science, or have professional work experience in a related field.

You must also demonstrate your proficiency in written and spoken English and meet our minimum requirements.

Need help meeting entry requirements?
International pathway programmes

If you need help meeting the study entry requirements for your chosen degree, or for university study in New Zealand in general, UC offers international pathway programmes to accelerate you into study through our UC International College (UCIC).

Completing a pathway programme will guarantee you entry to the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and select Engineering master’s degrees.

Online English language courses

If you need help meeting our language requirements, or you would like to practise your English skills before studying, UC offers an online course through our College of English (CCEL).

Completing this course will meet our minimum English language requirements.
