Postgraduate Pacific Studies research can be undertaken at UC. You will benefit from the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies, offering postgraduate students access to contacts with major research institutes and universities, and opportunities to take part in engaging research across multiple disciplines.

What will my study involve?

  • Access UC’s extensive collection of Aotearoa and Pacific literature housed in the Te Puna Rakahau o Macmillan Brown | Macmillan Brown Library. Developed from the personal library of John Macmillan Brown, a distinguished academic on Pacific Studies, the library contains original works from the 18th and early 19th centuries covering history from Aotearoa and the Pacific region, including literature, manuscripts, photographs, and artworks.
