Introduction

This specialisation is for those who want to be a part of the creative industry by combining artistic and business skills.

Study at least two areas of the creative arts of your choice (music and audio, film and media, art, and creative writing) through applied learning and theory.

Courses

Creative Industries and Contemporary Practice specialisation

UC offers a specialisation in Creative Industries and Contemporary Practice within the Bachelor of Arts. Specialisations group courses from different subjects into a central theme.

Each year, you will have the opportunity to focus your studies on two industry areas: music, screen/media, art, and writing practice. The final year includes an internship or podcast project focused on your chosen areas.

The following courses are required throughout your degree:

100-level

Plus one course chosen from the following categories:

200-level

Plus three courses from the following, selected from at least two categories:

300-level

Plus 60 points chosen from the following, with at least 30 selected from two categories:
