Overview:

The 25th annual New Zealand meeting on the interface of mathematics and biology in the study of phylogeny, genome analysis and molecular evolution will be held near Akaroa in the South Island of New Zealand.

The venue will be available Tuesday morning (9th) through to Friday 3pm. Talks will start after lunch on Tuesday  and end by lunchtime on Friday. There will also be an excursion.

Information regarding accommodation options will be posted shortly. There will be a small registration fee, and postgraduate students in particular are encouraged to attend.

Registration fee:

Students $150, Non-students $250 (GST inclusive). Payable by credit card (participants will be emailed the link later in December).

Accommodation options:  

Will be advised around mid-December.  Note that students may opt to stay for free in shared rooms in the Lodge (on site) which has been booked for the meeting.

A note regarding border restrictions:

Note for those interested in this conference from outside NZ:  Due to the ongoing CV-19 situation, and the strict border requirements in NZ, attending this conference is possible only for those based already in NZ, or those who have obtained approval to enter (this may extend to some states in Australia though it is currently unclear if that will occur in time for this conference).
