Jobs with Assistive Technology

Become a peer notetaker

Peer notetaking is where students contract with Hangarau Āheinga|Assistive Technology (HA|AT) for the purchase of copies of their notes in selected courses. These notes are used by other students at the University of Canterbury if they can’t take notes for themselves for accessibility-related reasons. If you are a currently enrolled student studying at UC then you will be eligible to become a peer notetaker - from undergraduate first-year students up to Masters.

Notes are purchased at a rate of $10.00 per one hour lecture, $20.00 per 2-3 hour lecture.

See our Notetaking information page in the Study Suppport section for more information about students use peer notetaking.
