Neighbour Meetings
Hui ā-Hapori
The University of Canterbury (UC) hosts Hui ā-Hapori | Neighbour Meetings for campus neighbours to meet, discuss matters of mutual interest, and come together as part of the UC community by sharing in manaakitanga.
Hui ā-Hapori | Neighbour Meetings enable campus neighbours and local, non-student residents to meet with UC representatives and discuss matters of mutual interest. Meetings are generally held at the beginning of the year, with additional meetings held as required or as determined by UC.
Hui ā-Hapori | Neighbour Meetings allow UC to keep the local community informed about activities that may affect them, provide opportunities for neighbours to meet and talk with UC representatives and student leaders, and support engagement on matters relevant to the future of the University.
