I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the many generous donors who supported Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury (UC) in 2022.
UC is a bedrock of educational excellence in Waitaha Canterbury, creating and maintaining a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where both students and researchers can thrive and succeed in their vision of building a brighter future. The University of Canterbury Foundation exists to support these endeavours by securing a conduit for philanthropic funds from alumni, staff, and community members who seek to make an impact.
Philanthropy ensures that our students are looked after, stimulated, and engaged, while our researchers and academics have the resources they need to continue their ground-breaking research that tackles real life issues we face in our world today. For that, we are immensely grateful.
We also thank the visionary donors who have made a provision for the University in their will. These are gifts that will keep on giving through scholarships, endowments, building improvements, and equipment.
To our financial supporters, as well as the many hardworking volunteers who serve as trustees for the University of Canterbury Foundations in New Zealand and the United States, and the University of Canterbury NZ Trust in the United Kingdom, thank you for your support and belief in what we do.
