Use this tool to find roles involved with managing Graduate Research Students (i.e., doctoral and research master's) across the University.
Tips for searching:
- A higher-level search on just one or two dropdown selections or a partial search term may give better results if you are not sure of the official name of the School or department you are seeking (e.g. for Biological Sciences, a search for "biology" will not return any results as this is not the proper name of the school, but "bio" will return correct results).
- Using the Enter/Return key will not display results, you need to select the Search button.
- If you have feedback on a specific role (e.g. a correction or clarification) use the button underneath the person's email; if you have general feedback about this application such as suggestions to improve display or functionality, email graduateschool@canterbury.ac.nz. If you are not seeing any results, refresh the page first before contacting the Graduate School.
- Terminology - Some listed roles may not match a person's job, i.e., the roles listed here relate to functions, not formal titles. Common abbreviations are:
HOD: Head of Department
HOS: Head of School
GRC: Graduate Research Coordinator
PG: Postgraduate
Assoc: Associate
ASM: Academic Service Manager
