Social Work limited-entry interviews

19 March 2024
HOW TO APPLY
Interview information

All applicants who meet the criteria for a Social Work limited-entry programme are interviewed before a decision is made to offer a place in the programme.

Interviews are conducted either face to face if you live within 50km of our Christchurch campus, or online if you live further away. Information on how to book your interview will be sent to you if you are successful in progressing to the interview stage of the process.

After your interview, and if you are successful in gaining entry to the programme, you will be sent information on how to complete the required police check

Face-to-face interviews

If you are attending a face-to-face interview, please make sure you arrive 20 minutes before your interview time to complete the identification validation.

To do this you will need to bring 2 forms of identification with you, one of which must be a photo ID (valid passport and driver’s licence are preferred). Student ID cards are not acceptable.

There is parking available on campus that can be paid for at the pay points provided, or alternatively you can park in the surrounding streets. Please allow enough time as it may not be possible to accommodate any late arrivals.

Online interviews

Once your interview booking is confirmed, you will be sent a link to access your interview session and details on how to complete the online identification validation process.

How to book

Please use the link below to book your interview for either the BSW or MSW (applied) programmes.
