After Hours Support for CSSE Computer Systems
The CSSE department offers a limited after-hours support service for faults that affect CSSE Labs.
Please Note:
The ITS Unit operates the servers used by Windows 10 virtual machines in CSSE labs and the campus network, including access to the Internet and WWW. For after-hours faults with the network and Windows servers, phone the ITS Help Desk on extn. 95000 and follow the voice mail instructions.
Faults with the Linux computers affecting CSSE Labs after hours, can be reported to the programmer Task list. There will be a best efforts approach to these and only faults that affect large numbers of users will be responded to; generally, such faults will be problems with the CSSE servers. Faults that affect individual desktop computers or individuals will have to wait until the next working day.
