Continuing study refers to progressing within the same subject area from an undergraduate qualification into postgraduate study. This pathway allows you to deepen your knowledge, build advanced research skills, and develop subject expertise. It provides a structured research pathway that can lead to doctoral study (PhD).
Conversion study refers to postgraduate study undertaken in a new subject area that does not directly continue from an undergraduate qualification. It allows students to develop knowledge and skills in a different discipline, often with a more applied focus. These programmes may include practical components such as internships or industry placements.
