HOW TO APPLY

Workplace Wellbeing for Performance

Duration: Half day (4 hours)

Price: $575 pp

Next start date: Tuesday 25 November 2025

Course structure and topics covered:

This four-hour workshop, provided by the Centre for Good Work (Centre for Good Work), provides participants an understanding of how businesses can enhance their engagement and productivity through the promotion of mentally healthy work (MHW). The ‘productivity problem’ is a well-known challenge for many Aotearoa New Zealand businesses, while increasing numbers of employees are reporting disengagement from work, higher stress, and burnout. One key to unlocking employees’ effectiveness is to engage in work design that benefits both the business and the employee. In this workshop, we will address what mentally healthy work entails, what Aotearoa New Zealand’s current legislation says about MHW, levels of intervention and practical knowledge on how to promote MHW in your organisation.

Course outcomes and benefits:

At the end of this half-day, interactive workshop, you will:

  • Gain an understanding of the business benefits of mentally healthy work;
  • Be familiar with current legislation to do with psychosocial risk management at work and potential future developments;
  • Gain an understanding of different levels of intervention, and insight into how to promote mentally healthy work at your business.
  • Your organisation will benefit from enhanced understanding of the benefits of mentally healthy work.

This course is ideal for

organisational leaders of any level, especially those making decisions about performance and innovation and who are interested in how mentally healthy work can support these aims.
