Human Interface Technology Lab New Zealand (HIT Lab NZ)
Researchers and students at the HIT Lab NZ have access to a wide range of cutting-edge equipment and facilities with which they can run experiments to explore, design and develop novel interactions.
Some of the equipment available at the HIT Lab NZ includes:
- Eight360 Nova Ball VR motion simulator
- SimPit 270-degree VR projection simulator
- Omni Virtuix omnidirectional VR treadmill simulator
- Two TactaCage multisensory immersive VR systems
- Motion capture room
- Haptics fabrication lab with specialist 3-D printers
- AR/VR headsets - multiple recent release headsets
- High-spec media space for filming
- User study labs
