Morrison is set to complete a Master of Laws specialising in Law and Technology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, while Petrovic will complete a PhD in Political Science specialising in Comparative Political Economy at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
While studying towards his Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from UC, Morrison brought his unique legal perspective to a research paper recently published in Frontiers in Blockchain. The paper titled The DAO controversy: The case for a new species of corporate governance? explores the implications of the non-human led governance structure of The DAO, and the impact on the decentralised autonomous organisation following a ‘hack’ of its code.
Milena graduated from UC with a BA (Hons First Class) in International Relations and Diplomacy in 2016.
UC will also welcome Brown University graduate, Molly Magid who will research the genomics of the New Zealand Fairy Tern/tara-iti with her Fulbright Award. Magid graduated from Brown University in 2019 with a BA in Biology (Hons) and a BA in Science, Technology, and Society.
