Start Me Up Graduates

25 jobseekers impacted by Covid-19 recently graduated from the Start Me Up programme – a programme designed to kick-start their career in a new direction, mentored by industry experts.

Over the past seven weeks, University of Canterbury Business School’s incubator ThincLab delivered a business accelerator programme in cooperation with startup hub Ministry of Awesome, as part of the Start Me Up partnership between the Ministry of Social Development and ChristchurchNZ. Previously undiscovered entrepreneurs and innovators got to develop and polish their business ideas with support from ThincLab’s mentors including Geoff Brash and Paul Spence.
