Could capturing carbon curb our emissions?

The government is seeking feedback on a proposal to regulate carbon capture, use, and storage in Aotearoa.

HOW TO APPLY

Experts – including two UC Engineering academics – shared their reactions with SMC, saying that the technology is necessary, but we can't rely on carbon capture technology to meet our climate goals. We still urgently need to decarbonise to meet our emissions reductions targets.
