About the Event

Join us for an informative Postgrad Evening hosted by the School of Psychology, Speech & Hearing, where you can explore postgraduate pathways in speech-language therapy and audiology.

Postgraduate qualifications featured:

  • Master of Speech and Language Pathology (MSLP) – A professional two-year qualification (full-time) that enables you to practice as a registered speech-language therapist. The programme combines coursework, clinical placements, and immersive practical experience, and is accredited by the NZ Speech-Language Therapists’ Association.

  • Master of Audiology (MAud) – A clinical master’s degree (two years full-time) preparing you to work as a professional audiologist, endorsed by the New Zealand Audiological Society, with coursework, placements, and a research thesis.

Why attend?

  • Engage with faculty and clinicians, explore hands-on clinical training, and learn how every day in these professions brings real-life impact, helping people communicate, recover, and live fuller lives.

  • Discover career possibilities in hospitals, schools, private clinics, and research in New Zealand and overseas.

Join us to find out how you can make a difference in communication and hearing health through postgraduate training at UC!
