Emma Osborne has been awarded a 2021 University of Canterbury Haupatu Scholarship for Sport. She will join us to study a Bachelor of Sports Coaching, after completing her studies at Whanganui Collegiate School last year.
Emma has previously claimed the gold medal in the 400m event at both the NZ Club Nationals and the NZ Secondary Schools Nationals. She has also won an international bronze at the Australian All Schools Games. Emma's sporting goals for 2021 are to win the NZ Open 400m event, and be a part of the New Zealand under 20 4x400 team.
