Research Work for a Master's or Doctoral Thesis
This document (formerly the Research Work for a Master's or Doctoral Thesis Code of Practice) is a practice statement with University-wide application that sets out the practices and procedures (the Code of Practice) adopted by the University. Its purpose is to assist staff and student engagement in research work for a Master’s or Doctoral thesis or dissertation. It sets out responsibilities for Heads of Department, Senior Supervisors and students. Information is also provided on embargoed theses, suspension, extension and submission of a thesis, referencing University publications, intellectual property and contracts.
