Honorary awards and honours conferred by the University Council can include titles (honorary doctorate, Emeritus Professor and Canterbury Distinguished Professor), awards or degrees. The Honorary Awards Policy outlines the eligibility criteria, nomination and selection procedures, and any privileges associated with these awards.
