Kia ora!
Having graduated from Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha in 2021, I have enjoyed working in the community with those who have a range of different needs. I am passionate about helping individuals to succeed and helping them to understand what success looks like for them.
As well as working within the social services, I also play professional Cricket. I have played Cricket for over 20 years and have been fortunate enough to be able to travel the world with this sport!
I have previously worked in schooling environments, under the Ministry of Social Development, and in the Disability sector. This experience allows me to have a broad perspective and to conduct my work with empathy.
Within this role, I aim to build rapport with students and to make them feel comfortable here at UC, creating an equitable place to study and thrive!
