Stella Keenan is a PhD candidate at the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies, University of Canterbury. Stella has a background in History and Political Science & International Relations where she graduated with Bachelor of Arts double majoring in the two disciplines.
Following undergraduate studies, Stella pursued a Master of International Relations and Diplomacy where she graduated with distinction. Stella is now working on a thesis looking at extractivism in the Pacific, with the impacts on Indigenous communities at the forefront of the research.
