Working thesis:

Scattering of Gravitational and Electromagnetic Waves

The main goal of this thesis is to investigate the novel process of the interaction between gravitational waves and electromagnetic waves using the conformal framework.
To do this we intend to numerically evolve conformally rescaled Einstein field equations with an energy-momentum tensor containing the components corresponding to electromagnetic waves.

Research interests:

General Relativity, Numerical relativity, Gravitational Waves, Axions, Neutron Star Magnetospheres.
