Areej AlHouli is an industrial engineer and a summa cum laude MBA graduate from Kuwait University. After finishing her BSc she was hired as an industrial engineer in Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works. She also worked as an HR deputy manager volunteering with Engineers Without Borders - Kuwait.

During her MBA she worked closely under the mentorship of one of the most highly-published professors in Marketing and International Business in the MENA area, Dr. Zafar Ahmed, collecting data, analysing it and writing a research paper, “Kuwait Consumers’ Perceptions About Brands,” presented at a leading international conference, the Academy of Global Business Advancement Annual World Congress, held in conjunction with Gelisim University in Istanbul, Turkey.

“Examining Perceptions of American and Omani University Students Towards Ethical Behaviour of Entrepreneurs and Business Managers” is her first published paper as a co-author. She joined the Academy of Global Business Advancement (AGBA). Currently a PHD student at the Department of Management, Marketing and Tourism, UC Business School.
