Research title: 

Seismic Performance of Reinforced Concrete Frames with CLT Infill Systems

Research Interests:

Veronica is interested in the seismic performance and resilience of reinforced concrete structures, with a particular focus on the use of cross-laminated timber (CLT) panels as infill systems for retrofitting purposes. Her research aims to improve the understanding of hybrid CLT–RC behavior under seismic loading and to contribute to the development of efficient, sustainable, and low-disruption retrofitting solutions. She also has a strong interest in seismic risk and vulnerability assessment as a framework for evaluating and improving building performance under earthquakes.

Personal interests:

In her free time, Veronica enjoys working out, walking outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
