Carl is a researcher and strategist with a social scientist’s heart. He has over 30 years' experience in the insights industry and has written a bunch of books about research and applying evidence in decision making. He works at The Curiosity Company and moonlights as a Senior Adjunct Fellow at the University of Canterbury’s Business School and as the presenter for the popular critical thinking course run by the NZ Marketing Association. In 2023 he was made a Fellow of the Research Association of New Zealand and in that same year was named as a Global Insight250 Winner.
