Tuihono UC | UC Online is the online learning division of the University of Canterbury. We provide a range of short courses and micro-credentials. Our courses are developed using the latest online learning technology. They’re also supported by UC’s innovative and inspiring teachers, and they draw from our internationally recognised research, academics, and subject matter experts.

All our courses are specifically designed for online learning. They're flexible and accessible, making it easy to expand your learning and extend your professional skills.

Each expertly presented online course brings you future-focused learning, delivered at your pace and all absolutely free.

Micro-credentials - short professional courses

Upskill your knowledge base and enhance your professional credentials. UC’s micro-credentials enable you to grow your professional toolkit, in a way that fits around your existing commitments. We currently offer courses in transition engineering and better start literacy approach, with more to come.
