Abstract
We live in a digital world and as historian, I am often asked about my data collections. My data source are archives, similar to satellite data or ground samples for scientists. The database are diaries, correspondence, and anything what can be digitized. This presentation shows the way historians gather and utilise their data to get answers of research questions that often link to scientific digital data.
