About the Event
Come and celebrate International Day for Biological Diversity with academic experts, staff, students and the wider community.
A free Biodiversity Walk will be held at the University of Canterbury on Wednesday 22 May. Meet outside the Ernest Rutherford building on the northside lawns at 12pm.
The talk is open to the public as well as staff and students and will feature a special discussion about the ecology of the Waiutuutu Stream. Fresh Water Ecologist and PHD candidate Ciara Espiner will share her research, supported by an interactive display of the invertebrate fauna from the stream.
