MOVE Software Donation from Petroleum Experts Ltd helps Canterbury Researchers

The MOVE software suite licences have generously been donated to the University of Canterbury by Petroleum Experts Ltd (Petex). This state of the art programme is able to develop 2D and 3D structural models in order to unravel how the Earth has changed over geologic time. This software is used in a wide variety of disciplines such as geology, civil/natural resource engineering, and hazard management. Petex has donated 10 licences of the MOVE software suite to UC, the commercial equivalent of which is over $3,200,000 (£1,601,839.98).
