To ensure you make the most of your time as a student, it’s important to be proactive about managing your money.
Fees are made up of tuition fees and non-tuition fees. The total cost of your fees each year will vary, depending on the subject(s) and qualification(s) you are studying, the number of courses you take, whether you are a domestic student or an International student, and whether you are studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level.

The Government's fees-free scheme means eligible students do not have to pay tuition fees in their first year at UC.
The most common option for funding your study is the New Zealand Government's student loans.
