Aukaha Tau 12

Aukaha Tau 12 is on Thursday 30 July 2020. Registrations open in June 2020

At Aukaha Tau 12, taiohi Māori receive information on courses and degrees taught at UC and what is needed before starting University, (entry requirements, scholarships and course planning). Interactive college sessions allow taiohi Māori to explore what is on offer.

The Māori Student Development Team and Tuākana Mentors share their own student experiences and talk about life on campus while sharing kai with the visiting taiohi Māori.

Aukaha includes keynote speakers, a student panel, Q&A session, and interactive sessions in Arts, Business & Law, Education, Health & Human Development, Engineering and Science.

At Aukaha Tau 10, taiohi Māori experience short interactive sessions which helped the discovery of how interests can relate to future opportunities.

UC Māori support staff and Tuākana mentors are heaviliy involved in the day and visiting taiohi Māori are able to hear about their student experiences and life on campus.

Registrations will open mid September 2020.
