As a Primary Teacher you will encourage and discover children’s lifelong potential and make a real difference to their lives. If you are energetic, creative and enjoy working with children, teaching is the right career for you.
Our Ako: Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) degree can be studied by a mix of on-campus and distance learning options through the UC Nelson Centre, based at NMIT.
- Join small and supportive classes.
- Undertake professional practice at local schools.
- Gain a professional qualification without leaving the province.
