Apply for PhD programme through myUC.
You will be asked for the following in your application:
- Evidence of supervision
- Curriculum Vitae
- Thesis abstract or full thesis
- Academic documents including grading scales
- Evidence of English language proficiency
- Identity document

Before submitting your application you need to check you are eligible to apply and also identify a supervisor.
If a supervisor expresses interest in your proposed study, the supervisor details and evidence of contact with the supervisor, where they confirm their availability to supervise your research, MUST be attached to your application.
Once you know your entry requirements you can complete and submit your application.
Please note that processing your application may take several weeks as your application will go through a series of approvals across colleges, schools, department and the Dean of Postgraduate Research. The University will make every effort to reach a decision as soon possible. Once your application for admission has been approved (first step) you will then be notified and sent an email explaining the process of how to complete your enrolment (second step).

Once your application has been approved and you would like to request a change in start date please discuss this with your provisional supervisor first and email the confirmation of their approval to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can apply to do so after at least six months work on your master’s thesis. You must show substantial evidence of quality progress in your research.
