Description

Business Law

The course will give participants an overview of selected areas of business law and taxation relevant to the business environment.

Learning Outcomes

The objectives of the course are to provide participants with a knowledge of the content, and practical application, of aspects of:

New Zealand legal system
Employment law
Contract law and special types of contract
Business Structures

Prerequisites

Subject to approval of the Head of Department.

Assessment

The course assessment will be equally allocated as follows:

Project 1:  individual assessment set by Maree Chetwin
Project 2:  individual assessment set by Andrew Maples
Project 3:  group presentation  set by Annick Masselot

All projects are to be handed in to the MBA Administrator
