This course will assist you to analyse complex organisational behaviour topics at individual, group and organisational levels. The course is focused on accurate problem analysis as well as the leadership skills required to intervene effectively in complex organisational systems.
Leading Ourselves is one of a group of MBA courses that focuses on the development of responsible leadership. The key purpose of this course is to enhance organisational leadership capability by building a personal leadership foundation of mindfulness, positivity and meaning. With this purpose in mind the course focuses on building a clear understanding of: The leader’s “interior condition” and its importance in leadership. The concept of positivity and its role in personal wellbeing/resilience. The practices of self-responsibility and mindfulness. The practices of positive emotion and their role in wellbeing/resilience. The importance of relationships and their contribution to wellbeing. An understanding of the process of work addiction and its impacts. The concepts of savouring, engagement and “flow” and their relevance to wellbeing/resilience. The role of meaning and “calling” as a leadership foundation. Your personal calling and the action steps needed to pursue it. Specific strategies for building mental fitness and finding support in the accomplishment of your vision.
