Description

Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering design principles. Electronic circuit simulation leading to a design-and-build project including circuit design and simulation, printed circuit board design, and construction of a working device with documentation. Documentation preparation.

Topics covered include:
● Mechanical analysis, drawing and design using Solidworks
● Circuit analysis and simulation using TINA
● PCB design and assembly using TINA
● Engineering design process

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
● understand basic engineering design aspects
● basic mechanical drawing and design
● basic circuit analysis, design and simulation
● basic PCB design, assembly and testing
