2014 Pasifika Graduation Celebration
The Pacific Development Team celebrates UC Pacific Graduates at the Pasifika Graduation Celebration. During the ceremony, Pacific students who have recently graduated in the December ceremonies are acknowledged by the university and the community in a Pacific celebration for both the graduate and their family.

Ministry of Health Aniva Scholarship (Formerly known as the Pacific Health Workforce Awards)
The 2015 Ministry fo Health Aniva Scholarships (formerly known as the Pacific Health Workforce Awards) are now open. Applications for the scholarship are to be submitted by 5pm, 04 January 2015.
The Scholarships aim to strengthen the Pacific health workforce by providing financial assistance to Pacific students who are committed to improving Pacific health outcomes via undertaking a tertiary health-related course.

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand Māori and Pacific Islands Scholarship
Applications are now open for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand 2015 Māori and Pacific Islands Scholarship. The closing date for applications to be submitted is 21 January 2015.
The Māori and Pacific Islands Scholarship in Economics, Finance and Banking has been developed as part of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's Equal Employment Opportunities programme.
The purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage Māori and Pacific Island students to pursue studies in the field of economics, finance and banking studies. The Reserve Bank’s objective is to increase the number of Māori and Pacific Island students with tertiary qualifications in economics, finance and banking studies to honours level, and thereby increase the numbers of these students employed in policy departments within the sector.

Following an extensive engagement process with staff, students and Pasifika community members, the Pasifika Strategy 2014-2018 was fully endorsed by College Faculties and Academic Board in March and approved by the University Council in September.
To highlight this significant milestone a special celebration will be held to officially launch the Pasifika Strategy on Thursday 27 November at the Central Lecture Theatre.
The University Chancellor and Vice Chancellor, together with members of the University Council and Senior Management Team, warmly invites students, staff and community to attend.
