Jandals2: Youtube Video Quiz

Join us for for Free Food, Fun and Entertainment! Jandals2 is being held this week, Thursday 14 May at the Undercroft from 5pm to 8.30pm.

Jandals are social evenings organised by students for students. Held two to three times a year, these evenings usually involve a few fun games, quizzes, spot prizes, impromptu entertainment and a lot of very loud laughter! Find out more by watching the video clip above or by clicking here.


2015 Pasifika Graduation Celebration

The Pacific Development Team celebrates UC Pacific Graduates at the Pasifika Graduation Celebration. During the ceremony, Pacific students who have recently graduated in the December ceremonies are acknowledged by the university and the community in a Pacific celebration for both the graduate and their family.

The December Graduation Celebration this year will be held on Thursday 16 December 2015. To find more about the celebration you can click here or contact Riki Welsh directly.

Kava Ceremony Welcome for Professor Steven Ratuva

Professor Steven Ratuva joined UC in January this year as the Director of the Macmillan Brown Research Centre for Pacific Studies and Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. The College of Arts together with members of the local Fijian community invites you to join in welcoming Professor Steven Ratuva to the University and to Christchurch.

A traditional Fijian kava ceremony will be held at the Central Lecture theatre on Friday 24 April 2015 to welcome Professor Steven Ratuva. To find more about the Welcome, please click here.
