Talofa lava, mālō e lelei, kia orana, ni sa bula vinaka, halo, namaste, mauri, mahalo, fakaalofa lahi atu, mālō ni, kia ora and warm Pacific greetings.
Pacific support services have been designed to ensure Pacific students get the most out of their studies.
The Pacific Development Team (PDT) are part of the Pacific Knowledge & Culture Hub (PAKC) that offers holistic care and support to Pacific students through Pacific advisors and one-to-one peer support with navigators in student's first year of study.
Pacific events such as Get Fresh, Old School Dinners, Pacific Welcome Day, Jandals and Pacific Graduation celebrations all help our students connect and build a healthy sense of belonging as a valued part of the wider university community.
The Pacific Studies department offers undergraduate, Honours, MA and PhD papers.
Our undergraduate studies explore navigation and settlement of the Pacific Ocean, the development of Pacific cultures, and modern politics and security.
