On successful completion of the course, students will have:Gained an understanding of the fundamental processes that give rise to sensation and perception.Demonstrated an understanding of how the various factors (e.g., physiological, cognitive, and environmental) influence our perceptual experience.Demonstrated an understanding of some of the commonly used methods and techniques scientists use to answer questions related to sensation and perception. Demonstrated the ability to evaluate and interpret research findings critically.Demonstrated the ability to do literature research on a topic, to synthesize research articles related to the topic, and to present the research findings clearly in writing.
