The design, implementation and use of information systems to enhance decision making in contemporary organisations with a particular emphasis on accounting information systems.
1. Demonstrate the ability to use at least one accounting information system critique its features and that of at least one other accounting information system. 2. Evaluate the evolvement of enterprise systems and how this relates to the qualities of information 3. Document and evaluate business processes and recommend appropriate internal controls4. Evaluate different approaches to the acquisition of information systems with a particular emphasis on the acquisition of accounting information systems.5. Evaluate different approaches to decision making relating to information systems.
