The course is based on Associate Professor Nilakant’s change management model that views change management as addressing four complex tasks: a. appreciating change, b. mobilising support, c. executing change, and d. building change capability.

Learning Outcomes

1. Describe the relationship between strategic decision making and change.
2. Explore assumptions, limitations, and mental models that either enable or create barriers to
strategic decision making and change in organisations.
3. Design leadership decisions and leading change using appropriate frameworks and processes.
