Syllabus:
Introduction to the most common applied statistical techniques. Sampling; experimental design including blocking, factorial and split plot layouts. Linear and multiple regression analysis. Correlation. Survival analysis and markovian models in biology.

Learning Outcomes

This course is designed for students to become familiar with the application of many of the statistical techniques used in biological sciennces.
