Description

This course aims to inspire and enable you to learn about what geographic information systems (GIS) mapping is, and understand how GIS can be used to understand the environment we live and work in. The course explains what spatial data is and how to access a range of relevant spatial data. Learners will develop skills in the use of specialist GIS software to create maps that can represent different types of data.
